Pastor Chris and his wife, Pastor Loraine, founded Cornerstone in 1990. They were ordained by Pastor Ray McCauley at Rhema Bible Church in South Africa before planting the church in Elmbridge.
Born to Greek-Cypriot parents, Chris grew up between two languages and two cultures. That heritage shapes everything about how he reads, teaches and lives the New Testament. He has mentored pastors and church leaders across the global church, and continues to lead Cornerstone alongside Loraine today.
The word behind

Every sermon at Cornerstone goes back to the original Greek of the New Testament. Not as a lecture, as a way of seeing the text the way it was first written.
A Greek verb tense, a single preposition, a word that English flattens into something thinner. These are the rooms where the meaning lives, and Pastor Chris opens the door every Sunday. You leave knowing the Bible better than when you arrived.
